The Qatar Sports for All Federation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth has concluded a cooperation agreement with the Mall of Qatar, with the aim of strengthening the existing cooperation between the two parties to contribute to spreading

The agreement was signed yesterday morning at Al Rayyan Hotel in Mall of Qatar, in the presence of Abdullah Al Dosari, Director of Activities and Events at the Qatar Sports for All Federation, and Emile Sarkis, General Manager of Mall of Qatar.

Common goals

Abdullah Al-Dosari expressed his happiness with the partnership agreement, which aims to enhance sports activity and consolidate the concepts of community sports, by expanding the scope of practice and benefiting from the existing facilities in the country.

Al-Dosari thanked Mall of Qatar for the fruitful cooperation in making sports activities successful for all, as the last period witnessed the establishment of the second billiards championship in Mall of Qatar, in addition to the “Increase your activity by walking in the malls” event, which raises the level of awareness of the importance of walking, especially in the summer and with The rise in temperatures, which promotes walking in a suitable atmosphere inside the malls, added Al-Dosari, the coming days will witness the establishment of a table tennis tournament in Mall of Qatar, and the Sports for All Chess Championship will follow.

Support and support

For his part, Emile Sarkis, General Manager of Mall of Qatar, stressed their keenness and interest in the partnership agreement, expressing his admiration and support for the initiatives offered by the Sports for All Federation, noting that Mall of Qatar adopts and supports all sports, cultural, artistic and community initiatives, to contribute to achieving the goals of the National Strategy 2030.

He pointed out that they had held many sporting activities by hosting a group of international football stars, and the Dankers basketball team, and these events had won admiration.

The General Manager of Mall of Qatar announced that the 2022 World Cup matches will be shown on the Oasis screens in Mall of Qatar, and there will be a continuation of the World Cup through a variety of activities.

Sarkis also revealed future sports plans through a bike path around Mall of Qatar, which will support the sports vision and contribute to spreading the culture of sports in the community.

The signing of the partnership agreement with Mall of Qatar comes as an affirmation of the keenness of the Qatar Sports for All Federation to establish distinguished partnerships that help in providing a series of tournaments, during different periods of the year, and therefore tournaments vary according to the prevailing atmosphere in each period of the year, as this diversity ensures the provision of multiple options to members of society, through the summer activity agenda, and the establishment of some sports activities in commercial malls, and the main goal is the continuation of sports and physical activity during the summer period, and at all times, and open the way to participate in various sports activities, and create the appropriate and conducive atmosphere for sports practice, at all times.
